Prior To Session

Should I have a large meal prior to receiving traditional Māori Healing?

It's best to avoid having a large meal before the session. However please keep hydrated.

Are there any substances I should avoid before?

Please refrain from consuming alcohol, drugs, or addictive substances prior to the session.

What should I wear during healing session?

Wear comfortable clothing to ensure you feel at ease when lying down for an extended period during the session.

Is it normal to experience emotions during the session?

Yes, it's perfectly normal to experience emotional release during the session, including crying. Allow yourself to release these emotions as they arise—it's part of the healing process.

Should I plan any activities or work immediately after?

It's advisable not to schedule any active activities or work immediately after the session. You'll need time to ground yourself and process the information.

After Session

What should I do after I've received my healing session?

Take some time to process the session. Allow sufficient time to rest and ensure you drink plenty of water and eat well.
